Rally for the Cure

Rally for the Cure

What is Rally?
A golf, tennis or dining event that benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure. It is a program designed to spread awareness of breast health and breast cancer through volunteer organized golf, tennis and dining events. Since 1996, Rally has proudly spread the life-saving message of early detection to more than 1.5 million participants.

Types of Rally events

Golf~ Rally's most popular format is a simple closest-to-the-pin contest

Tennis~ New in 2008, tennis players Rally through a standard round robin format or incorporate Rally into a clinic.

Dining/other ~ Rally offers volunteers/Ambassadors, the opportunity to Rally off the golf course or tennis court by hosting luncheons, club social events or auctions.

How Rally Works

  • Rally can be added to an existing event or an event can be designed around the breast cancer awareness theme
  • Events are organized by volunteers called Ambassadors
  • Each participant pays a $20 entry fee. This enables them to receive the materials Rally provides which includes a goody bag, breast cancer awareness materials from Susan G. Komen for the Cure and a Rally for the Cure pin, featuring the symbolic pink ribbon.
